I've just recieved word from Moo that IG is most likely going to host and participate in a tournament in the near future.

We're to use a public server, either the training one or a clan server. Moo has some connections with the admins on both and can arrange for the server to be temporarily passworded. Remember: if you have server access and would like to donate your services to IG, don't be hesitant.

I'm not sure who's going to be monitoring for cheating and the like, but I'd assume it'd be one of the admins or a player from each side as referee.

Now, for the actual meat of the tournament.
All clans paricipating (Moo said, " id invite CW BSID JPL IG @@@@ KM maybe KEU") would be randomly tossed into two pools: A and B. All clans in Pool A and Pool B will face eachother "round-robin" style. (This means every clan gets to face off with every other clan in their respective pool) Once done, the 2nd place winners of Pool A will face the 3rd place winners of Pool B. Likewise, the 2nd place winners of Pool B will face the 3rd place winners of Pool A. The winners of those will qualify for the final round.

While the 2nd and 3rd place winners from both sides are battling, the 1st place winners of Pool A and Pool B will face off. The winner of this match, 1st Pool A vs. 1st of Pool B, will get to decide who they get to face in the finals. Again, this match will not count against them.

From here, this could go two obvious ways (probably depending on time):
1.) Round-robin again; clan with the most wins gets 1st place, clan with second-most wins gets 2nd, etc. Edit: I've talked it over with Moo and option 2.) will infact be the route taken.
2.) The 1st place winners of Pool A and Pool B will face the winners of 2nd/3rd placers from Pool A and B. The winners of those two battles then faces off. The winner of this second match then become first place.
